NEW PALESTINE – Eric W. Crawford, age 68, of New Palestine, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014. He was born on December 2, 1945 in Anderson, the son of Walter and Elizabeth (Jacobs) Crawford. Eric proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. On June 1, 1968 he married Nancy M. (Reichenbach) Crawford in Fortville.
Eric worked for Ford Motor Company, in Indianapolis, as a Fork Lift Operator for 33 years before retiring in 2001.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Nancy of New Palestine; brother, Malcolm Crawford of Brilliant, Alabama; and sister, Janet Macaulay of Santa Rosa, California. Eric was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield with visitation two hours prior, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Reverend Mike Manning will be officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.
