Mrs. Henrietta Curnutte Vanhorn, 92, died July 24 at 2:15 a.m. at the home of a son Ercell Vanhorn of 3410 Spring Street, Catlettsburg. Funeral services were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from the Buchanan Chapel with the Rev. Franklyn Harness of Minford, OH officiating and burial was in the church cemetery. She was born march 19,1871, a daughter of the late J. H. and Sarah Russell Curnutte, and resided at Buchanan until she went to Catlettsburg a few years ago, to reside with her son. Her husband, Brunk Vanhorn, died in 1955. Additional survivors include two more sons, Delbert Vanhorn of Buchanan and Pearl Vanhorn of Louisa, Route 4, five daughters, Mrs. Cora Banks of Catlettsburg, Mrs. Guy Wilt of Laurel, MD, Mrs. Hargis Collins of Columbus, IN, Mrs. Queen Durst, Troy, OH, and Mrs. Gussie Tackett of Minford, Route 2; two brothers, William Curnutte of Portsmouth, OH and O. L. Curnutte of Catlettsburg, route 2, and 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Big Sandy News, August 1, 1963
