RUTH ELEANOR FARSCHMAN

AMHERST - Ruth Eleanor Farschman passed away, December 14, 2011 at Amherst Manor after a long illness.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Oberlin, past Treasurer of Grace Lutheran Womens League, member of Lutheran Children's Aid Assoc., and Lakeshore Railway Assoc. Ruth enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by son, Marc Farschman of Queen Creek, Ar.; daughters, Joyce (Richard) Lamont of Amherst, Linda (Daryl) Synstelien of Fergus Falls, Minn; 6 grandchildren; step-sons Russell Farschman of Everett, Wa., Dave Farschman, of Redding, Calif.; step-daughters, Janet Fanning of Chandler Hts., Ar., Karen Koerner of Scottsdale, Ar.; 2 brothers and 1 sister; host of step grandchildren and host of step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Otto Biar and Lydia Biar; her husband Dewyane M. Farschman and 5 brother and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be on Sunday December 18, 2011 at the Cowling Funeral Home from 2-5pm. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Monday December 19, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church in Oberlin, Pastor Josh Moldenhauer of Grace Lutheran Church will officiate. After the funeral services there will be a luncheon at the church followed by a private family burial in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
