Robert Odell Felts, age 73, of Portland, passed away January 30, 2009, at Sumner Regional Medical Center. He was born in Nashville on June 16, 1935, to the late Clarence and Mary Felts. He is survived by his wife, Martha Felts of Portland; daughters, Kathy Canup of Hermitage, Patricia Hughes of Portland; sons, Mike Felts of Portland, Thomas Felts of Portland; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Martha Ford of Madison, Stella Lampley of Antioch; brother, George Felts of Gallatin; several nieces and nephews. Visitation is 1 p.m., until 9 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2009, and 10 a.m., until funeral time on Sunday. Funeral service is 2 p.m., Sunday, February 1, 2009, at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Howser officiating. Interment is at Mitchellville General Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mike Felts, Thomas Felts, Keith Canup, David Scott, Josh Stafford and Jay Hughes.
