Three men are expected to be charged later this week in connection with the smoky grass fire that led to the deaths of three people in a 10-vehicle pileup Thursday afternoon [April 13] on Highway 151 in Dodge County.
Dodge County District Attorney Kevin Schram said he is still investigating the incident and could not speculate on charges. However, Fitzgerald told Schram he believed the men set the fire intentionally.
Kenneth Beahm, 58, and his son David, 18, both of Waupun, and Russell Kent, 44, of Glenbeulah, died in the collisions. Beahm's wife, was in critical condition at University Hospital Monday night.
