Funeral services for Billy R. Marshall, 74, of Crowville will be held 2 pm Sunday, January 19, 2014 in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Bates and Rev. Marion Collier officiating. Interment will follow in Crowville Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 7 pm Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the funeral home.
Mr. Billy was born October 15, 1939 in Crowville to Louis May and Ruthy Viola Parker Marshall and passed from this life on January 16, 2014 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his four daughters: Janet Marshall and Robert Tarver of Crowville, Kathy Marshall of Crowville, Nicki Webb and husband David of Longview, TX, Carla Bordelon and husband Billy of Columbia; brother James Marshall of Crowville; sister Audrey Tucker and husband John of Winnsboro, Jonnie Mae Sorey and husband Gene of Rayville; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be James Caldwell, Harold Comeaux, Eric K. Franklin, John Erin Garrett, Rex McHaffie, Dale Taylor and Dewayne Winters.
