Preceded in death by her brother, David Mootz.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gerald "Jerry"Vandermeir; two sons, George and his wife Betty Mansfield, OH and Kenneth and his wife Lori of Palm Harbor, FL; three daughters, Janet and her husband Ronald Sasso of Chicago, IL, Kathleen and her husband James Korzenski of Pinellas Park, FL and Susan and her husband Jeffrey Scholpp of Clearwater, FL; eighteen grandchildren, Christopher, Cathy Ann, Sandra, Jeremy, Nicholas, Dustin, Melisa, Mitchell, Grace, Melanie, Taylor, Gerald, Lindsey, Emily, Faith, Jill and Vega Joy. She also has seven great grandchildren, Kyle, Alexis, Cristiano, Gianni, Austin, Nathan and Madison.
