Billy Don Cash Jr., 53, beloved cowboy, father, son, brother and friend, passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nev., with his dear friend, Geri Mason, by his side.

Billy was born June 10, 1960, in Harrison, Ark., to Laura Mae Cash and the late Billy Don Cash. Billy graduated from Fort Osage High School in Independence, Mo., and went on to have a career in rodeos. He earned 3 IPRA and 12 NPRA titles, was an accomplished auctioneer and owner and producer of Badlands Professional Bull Riding Company. Billy announced multiple rodeos, including, but not limited to, IFR, URA, NPRA, MRCA, Bull-O-Rama, Bill Pickett, Indian National World Final Rodeos, PRCA and PBR. Billy enjoyed roping and loved riding his HD motorcycle, which he built from scratch, and was featured in Easyriders Magazine and won numerous awards.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Logan Sierra Cash of Ozark, Mo.; mother, Laura M. Snead of Buckner, Mo.; siblings, Chad McGregor of Grain Valley Mo., Carrie Cash Wootten of St. Louis, Mo., and Cherie Lynn Purvis of Barstow, Ga.; many nieces and nephews; and truly man's best friend, his dog, Seven.

A service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Holt Memorial Chapel, 1904 Capps Road, Harrison, AR 72601. Burial to follow in Bellefonte, Ark.
