Mr. Ray Wilson Strickland, 80 of 4071 Hayne Stretch Rd. died at his home January 2. 2008.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stan Carter officiating. Burial will be at Piney Green Church Cemetery.
Born in 1927 in Johnston County, Mr. Strickland was the son of the late Walter Ray and Flora Esther Beard Strickland. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Navy having served in the Korean War, a member of the Printer's Union and employee with Hartsoe Printing Co. He was a retired Printer.
He is survived by a daughter, April Lynn Pfarner of Holland, N.Y. Four Sons, Walter Ray Strickland of Stedman, Larry Nelson Strickland of Whiteville, Benjamin Earl Strickland of Greensboro and Glenn Wilson Strickland of Autryville. Three Sisters, Betty Lou Rivenbark, Dot Strickland and Ruth Saltis all of Burgaw, .
