SHIRLEY ANN BRADFORD

Shirley Ann Bradford, 78, of Oberlin, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, in Lorain. She was born January 7, 1935, in Lodi.
Shirley was a member of Peace Mennonite Church in Elyria and a former member of East Oberlin Community Church. She was past President of A.A.R.P, and a member of the Pythian Sisters. She volunteered at Allen Memorial Hospital as a chaplain for 12 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and 4-H club.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Donald K. Bradford of Oberlin; son, Dale A. (Kathy) Bradford of Strongsville; daughters, Donna J. Wolfe of Weed, California, Dawn B. (Billy) Hernon of Oberlin, Dianna K. Dunn of Lansing, Michigan; 16 grandchildren; and brother, Richard Jones of Williston, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter S. Jones; and mother, Helen Woodburn.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 5, 2014, from 2 to 5 P.M., at Cowling Funeral Home of Oberlin. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, January 6, 2014, at Peace Mennonite Church, 9300 West Ridge Rd., Elyria, with Pastor Adam Houser officiating. Private family burial will be at Westwood Cemetery.
