Loving mother, daughter and sister passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 due to injuries received in an auto accident. Age 53 years. Daughter of Phyllis (Fedder) Mikolaiczik and the late Leo J. Mikolaiczik , Kimberly was born March 27, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Central Michigan University and airline school. Kim was employed at Continental Airlines at Detroit Metro Airport. She was married to Paul Bauer. Kim was very active in gymnastics.
Surviving are her daughter, Claire Bauer, Ann Arbor; her mother Phyllis Mikolaiczik, St. Helen; her brother, Kevin Mikolaiczik, Saginaw; her aunts and uncles, Dale and Jeannie Mikolaiczik, Norm and Loretta Mikolaiczik, Rita and Lyle Summerfield, Carolyn and Fred Cardinal; and several cousins.
Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6400 McCarty Rd., Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Ronald Dombrowski will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Claire Bauer Educational Fund or Holy Cross Childrens Services.
