Mr. Tony Mark Caldwell, age 53 of 40 Creek Court, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at his residence.
A son of Wanda Kincaid Caldwell and the late James Charles Caldwell, he was born October 17, 1959 in Hawkins County, Tennessee, having lived in
Toccoa for the last 17 years.
He was employed in general construction and worked in the cattle industry, was a graduate of Walter State College in Morristown, Tennessee and a member of First Baptist Church in Rogersville, Tennessee.
Survivors include his mother, Wanda Kincaid Caldwell of Rogersville, Tennessee; wife of the home, Gloria Steele Mathews Caldwell; two step sons and their wives, Tracy and Tammie Mathews of Mt. Airy, Georgia and Rusty and Jennie Mathews of North Carolina; three grandsons, Devin Roger Mathews, Brody Roger Mathews and Cody Anthony Mathews; two brothers, Allen Caldwell of Cleveland, Georgia and Dennis Caldwell of Rogersville, Tennessee; two sisters, JoEtta Mallory of Rogersville, Tennessee and Doris Conley of Dayton, Tennessee; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Thursday, January 17, 1 O'clock PM at the First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Tom Fish and the Reverend Dr. Ken Freshour officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Ronnie Sorrells, Kevin Anderson, Joe Sewell, Tommy Wright, Charles Wright, Jonathan Wright, Randall Bellamy and Brad Mallory.
The family will be at the home on Creek Court and will receive friends at Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 PM to 9:30 PM.
Flowers are optional.
Memorials may be made to NE Georgia Hospice, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Ste 222, Gainesville, Georgia 30501 in memory of Mr.Tony Mark Caldwell.
Interment will follow in Roselane Cemetery with the Reverend Robert Mallory officiating.
