Mrs. Ellen Pal-oy Strickland age 63 died Friday, January 17, 2014, in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center in Whiteville, NC. She was born in the Philippines and was a resident of Tabor City, NC. She was the daughter of the late Felipe Pal-oy and Lucia Doligan

She is survived by a daughter: Eden T. Rhodes and husband Aaron of Green Sea, SC; four brothers: Herminio Pal-oy, Teofilo Pal-oy, Bernie Pal-oy, and Jelson Pal-oy, all of the Philippines; one sister: Jacklyn
Pal-oy of Saudi Arabia; three grandchildren: Chase Rhodes, Elena Rhodes, and Ty Rhodes.
She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Loris, SC.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 2 PM in the Trinity Baptist Church in Loris, SC. Burial to follow in the Green Sea Cemetery in Green Sea, SC.
