BAKER Pansy L. "Hilda" Pansy L. "Hilda" Baker, age 84, of Toledo passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. She was born on August 6, 1929, to Felix and Lettie (Magee) Watkins in London, Kentucky. Hilda retired from The Toledo Hospital, and after retirement she worked for Boston Market for ten years. She truly enjoyed the people she worked with and the guests at Boston Market. Hilda was an avid Detroit Tiger's fanatic. Most precious to her was her granddaughters, great-granddaughter and great-great-granddaughter. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Billie (Tony) Szymanski; son, Melvin Baker; granddaughters, Angie (Jay Isom) Baker, Rondah Szymanski and Dawn Szymanski; daughter-in-law, Karen Sulewski; great-granddaughter, Kayla Foreman; great-great-granddaughter, Scout Szymanski; special friends, Hannah Nagle, James, Tab and Brenda Brown and her boss, Jim. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Baker; son, Michael Baker; sister, Wilma Watkins and brothers, Felix Jr. and Carl Watkins. The family will receive guests on Sunday, January 19, 2014, from 2-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Monday, January 20, 2014, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Toledo.
