James Edward Reddish, 73, of Brownsville, Ky., died Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, at his home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Gravil Funeral Home, Brownsville, with burial in Slate Bank Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. today at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Jim Reddish Memorial Fund at any US Bank location.

The Edmonson County native was a retired projectionist, a Marine veteran of the Korean War and a member of Independence General Baptist Church. He was the son of the late James Robert Reddish and Mittie Crystal Schultz Reddish.

Surviving are his wife, Maggie Duvall Reddish; three daughters, Vicki Cork, Chris Reddish and Karen Reddish, all of East Moline; four sons, Sam Reddish, Davenport, Mike Reddish, Muscatine, Iowa, Dr. Robert Beauvais, Fountain Inn, S.C., and Andy Sill, Moline; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Reddish and Ricky Reddish; two grandsons, Josh Horn and Adam Horn; and two sisters, Helen Lindsey and Roxie Reddish.
