Judy Carol Stanley Head, 69, of North Wilkesboro, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 at Westwood Hills Nursing Center.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, 2 p.m., Jan. 19, 2014 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with the Rev. Keith Lyons officiating. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:45 prior to the service.
Mrs. Head was born Dec. 18, 1944 in Wilkes County to Carl Wilson and Lillie B. Bowlin Stanley. Before retiring, she was a CNA. Mrs. Head was a member of Yadkin Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Stanley and Larry Stanley.
She is survived by her husband, J.R. Head; one son, Jeffrey Thompson; and her mother, Lillie B. Bowlin Stanley of Wilkesboro.
The family requests no food.
