William and Anna had six known children. She was the mother of all his children. She was buried at St. James, South Elmham, February 13, 1601. William then married a woman named Alice. Willaim wrote his will on November 25, 1616 and it was proved on May 17, 1620. He was living in Ditchingham, Norfolk at the time. He left his eldest son John land in St. James, South Elmham and Medfield, all in Suffolk. John was to pay money to brothers Nathaniel and Eleazer and sister Esther. He also left money to his grandchildren Mathias, John and Mary Candler, children of his deceased daughter Hannah, and to his grandchildren by his sons Nathaniel and John.
