Rosie passed away quietly at home with family by her side on January 15, 2014 at the age of 92.

Rosie was born January 10, 1922 in Lancaster, Ohio. She was the 9th of 11 children. Rosie joined the Navy and moved to San Diego in 1943 where she met and married Clarence "Pete" Hoffman in 1945. They were married 61 years until his passing in 2006.

She is survived by sisters, Pauline Brown and Janie Hammond of Ohio; sons, Gary, Mike, Jim and Brian; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held between 2 and 6 p.m., on Thursday, January 23, at Greenwood Mortuary. Services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, January 24, in the Salli Lynn Chapel at Greenwood Mortuary. Interment will follow at La Vista Cemetery.

Rosie passed away quietly at home with family by her side on January 15, 2014 at the age of 92.

Rosie was born January 10, 1922 in Lancaster, Ohio. She was the 9th of 11 children. Rosie joined the Navy and moved to San Diego in 1943 where she met and married Clarence "Pete" Hoffman in 1945. They were married 61 years until his passing in 2006.
