Funeral services will be January 8, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Alan Garbutt officiating and assisted by Brother Paul Barham. Burial will follow in Center Hill Cemetery near Hamilton. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include His Wife: Doretha K. Fairchild of West Point; One Son, Marion Fairchild (Joyce Ann) of Hamilton; A number of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren; One Sister, Georgia Fusco of Memphis, TN. Preceding him in death were his First Wife: Anna Ward Fairchild; One Daughter: Jane Lancaster; One Grandson: John Stanley Fairchild; Two Sisters: Candis Wilson and Bessie Cockerham; and Two Brothers: Roy and Earl Fairchild.
Pallbearers will be Phil Lancaster, Larry Wilson, Martin Wilson, Sammy Pearson, Cliff Hammond, and Frank Howell Cockerham.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Claude Keller, Harold Keller, James Keller, Harvel Lancaster, Jaimy Towery, Jerry Sanders, Staff of Dugan Memorial Home, and the Friends at Bible Baptist Church.
