Mrs. Phoebe Hall died at her home
near here last Saturday morning after
an illness of ten days duration, from
the infirmities of age. She was seventy
years old, was the widow of the
late Robert L. Hall and was born and
in this section. She accepted
Christ as her savior fifty-five years
ago, a splendid Christian character and
was beloved by all who knew her. She
is survived by the following children,
all grown: Mr. R. T. Hall and Mr. A.
C. Hall, and Mrs. Annie Foster, Mar-
umsco; Mrs. Sadie Bell and Mrs. Car-
rie Johnson, Rehoboth; Mrs. Hattie
Matthews, Pocomoke City; Mrs. Irene
Marshall, Smiths Island; and Mrs.
Nina Ennis, wife of Mr. Sid Ennis of
Westover. Rev. Mr. Taylor of Balti-
more, conducted services from Reho-
both Baptist Church, a former charge,
last Sunday afternoon. and interment
was in the church cemetery.
