RICHARDSON -- Sadye Beryl, died Friday, October 14, 2005 after a long illness. She was born March 5, 1919, in Jenks, OK, to Cecil R. and Sadie B. (Lawhorn) Carter. Beryl was way ahead of her time earning her degree from the University of Tulsa. She worked for an oil company early in her career and then worked her way up from clerical to loan officer for the Tulsa Teacher's Credit Union where she was employed for 27 years. She was active in many charitable organizations, mainly the Tulsa Boys Home and Disabled American Veterans. She was a member of PEO and the Chi Omega sorority. She is survived by: son, Will Richardson, wife, Kristin; daughter, Kathy Dentis; grandchildren, Bradley Dentis, spouse, Andrea, Amy Dentis, Jennifer Laeger, spouse, John, Jacob Pearce and Marshall Pearce; 1 great-grandchild, Isabella Laeger. Also survived by: sister, Druscilla Purdin; and sister-in-law, Martha Carter, all of Tulsa. Beryl was preceded in death by: parents; husband, William W., III; and brother, R. Dan Carter. Beryl will lie in state at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, Saturday and Sunday. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2005, Redeemer Covenant Church, 5415 E. 101st, with interment following at Floral Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to the Disabled American Veterans. Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 663-2233.
