Rita C. (Daviau) Langlois, age 93, of Holyoke, died on Wednesday January 15, 2014 at Loomis House in Holyoke.
She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Alfred and Virginia (Thuot) Daviau and was a graduate of South Hadley High School. Rita worked in the office of Allen S. White Insurance Agency, and was a member of the Holyoke Golden Agers.
She was the widow of Marcel J. Langlois who passed in 1990.
Rita is survived by a daughter, Louise R. Langlois of Holyoke, a son Philip M. Langlois and his wife Valerie of Belchertown, three grandchildren: Alice, Henry and Ruby, a sister-in-law Lorraine Daviau, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 7:30 from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours will be held Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
