Julia Arthur Gault Taken By Death Here At Home; Rites Set
Died at her home in McMinnville at the age of 89 years. She was born May 23, 1850, on her father’s donation land claim in Washington county, OR, where she lived until 1869. In that year she came to McMinnville, where she has made her home ever since. On April 17, 1870, she married John W. Gault, who died in 1908. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and belonged to the Daughters of Pioneer Indian War Veterans and the Rebekah lodge. She is survived by a brother, Richard Arthur, Chicago, Ill.
