Raymond Moe, age 21, of Rice Lake, met death in a
tragic manner recently. He was engaged in greasing a truck and had jacked up the front end, doing the work in a garage at that city. In some manner the truck slipped off the jack, the front wheels dropping into a pit and pinning Moe underneath with the frame of the truck pushing against his face. It is thought he was killed instantly, as he was alone at the time, his body being discovered by a passer-by.
