Maysil was the daughter of Shirley Gay Blosser and Delphia Larch. She was married three times; first in 1937 to Glenn Franklin Walker, who died in 1953; second to Robert Lee Sinnett in 1954, later divorced; and lastly in 1967 to Phillip Robertson, who survived her.

A long-time Sparks resident, she had worked as a waitress at John Ascuaga's Nugget for 15 years. She died in a Reno hospital on June 14, 1976.

Besides her husband, she was survived by both parents; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Vilaria of Alhambra, California and Mrs. Nancy Hall of Reno; two sons, Larry Walker and Robert Sinnett Jr, both of Sparks; four grandchildren; one brother, Elmer Blosser of West Grove Pennsylvania, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Boyles of Columbus, Ohio.
