Contributor Chris Goddard (member 48059020) kindly provided the year of John Stewart's marriage and the location of his death, along with the following information: "Source for location of death: Caledonian Mercury - Monday 16 January 1769. He was baptised at Penninghame on 18 Nov 1700, so I think it's safe to assume he was born at 'Castle Stewart'. FindaGrave doesn't offer Penninghame, but it does have Newton Stewart."
