Mrs. Avis Parker died Dec. 3 of a complication of diseases, aged 72 years. She had been in feeble health for about two years.
She had been a resident of this place for about twenty years and leaves to mourn her loss three daughters and one son, Mrs. May Thompson of Fairdale, N.D., Mrs. Flora Berg of North Dakota and Miss Minnie and Edgar, also three sisters and two brothers, all living in the southern part of the state.
Mrs. Parker was a most devoted mother, a loyal friend and good neighbor. She was laid at rest Wednesday in the cemetery at Sherman, her former home.
