Mr. Jason Eric Mills, 29, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Poteet Funeral Home, Peach Orchard Road, with the Revs. Jerry Wilson, William F. Harrell and William Burch officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Mills, a native of Augusta, was a mechanic for Sanders Truck Transportation and a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Justin Christopher Mills, Cleveland; his parents, John G. and Joan S. Mills, Augusta; three brothers, Michael Gordon Mills and Lonnie Lamar Mills, both of Augusta, and John Herman Mills, Evans; his paternal grandmother, Helen Bird Mills, Augusta; and his maternal grandmother, Anne Smith Ansley, Augusta.
Pallbearers will be William Payton, Kurt Wilson, Jeremy Lane, David Payton, Tommy Lane and Scott Dedman.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
