Charles Edward Oakley, 75, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014. Arrangements will be announced by Greenview Funeral Home. He was the husband of Vivalene Oakley.

Charles Edward Oakley, 75, of Waterloo, died at ECM Hospital following an extended illness on January 14, 2014. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today at Greenview Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 3 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park. Rev. Donnie McDaniel will officiate.
Mr. Oakley was a retired machinist for TVA and owner of Oakley Furniture.
Preceding him in death were his parents, George Floyd Oakley and Lady Atwood Oakley; brothers, W. T. Oakley, Floyd Oakley, Jr., Robert Oakley and Hershell Oakley; sister, Dean Lindsey. He is survived by his wife, Vivalene Reeves Oakley; sons, Eddy Oakley, Joey Oakley (Donna) and Keith Oakley all of Florence; daughter, Matilda Collins, Jacksonville, FL; step-children, Jerry Graham (Debra), Tony Graham (Diane) and Donna Preston (David); brothers, Bill Oakley and Don Oakley all of Florence; sister, Shirley Wooten, Florence; grandchildren, Justin Oakley, Heather Collins, Meagen and Raleigh Preston, Jerry Graham and Susan English; special friends, Tom and Linda Nichols and Euell Stutts.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Wooten, Terry Oakley, DeWayne Oakley, Donnie Oakley, Anthony Oakley and Tommy Bates
