Bonnie Manning, 79, of Eugene, passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 9th. She had increasing issues with mobility and pain following a fall and hip surgery a year ago.

Bonnie was the daughter of Tollie R. and Clara (Katie) Manning, the oldest of 3 children. She was born on November 18, 1934 in Scotland, Arkansas. Her family moved to the Cottage Grove - Eugene area in 1942, and Bonnie has lived here since then.

She graduated from the Eugene Business College in 1956. She worked as an office manager for 2 local CPA firms until her retirement in 2006.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, her annual trips to Kauai, and her many cats through the years.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Bonnie's name to the Greenhill Humane Society or the Relief Nursery.

A memorial service will be held at Lane Memorial Funeral Home in Eugene on Saturday, January 18 at 1 PM.
