She was the mother of Israel Ross, Margaret Ross Van Dyke, Sarah Hicks Ross Wright Callahan, John Wesley Ross, Thomas Jennings Ross, Isaac Jennings Ross and Deborah Ross.
Two of her sons, Thomas and Isaac, were Methodist ministers.
