Mrs. Fisher, 70,
Wife Of Banker,
Dies In Gassaway
GASSAWAY - Mrs. Mary Grace Fisher, 70, of Gassaway, died yesterday in the Gassaway Hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of J. B. Fisher, president of the Bank of Gassaway.
Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Gassaway Methodist Church and the woman's club here.
Other survivors include three sons, Dr. Earl Fisher and Herman G. Fisher of Gassaway and Carl Fisher of Charleston; two daughters, Mrs. Leo Hillyard of Gassaway and Mrs. Eunice Phares of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters Mrs. Ida Berry of Heaters and Mrs. Ocie Craven of Cincinnati, Ohio and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be tomorrow at 2 p. m. at the Gassaway Methodist Church, the Revs. Samuel A. Harford and A. B. Kingsley officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery. Bartlett Funeral Home here in charge.
The body is at the funeral home.
