In the 1900 federal census, the record says she was born in July 1893; in the 1910 federal census, she was 16 years old, suggesting she possibly was born in 1894; in the 1930 federal census, she was 34 years old, suggesting she possibly was born in 1896; in the 1940 federal census, she was 42 years old, suggesting she possibly was born in 1898; and her stone says she was born in 1895. Without an original source such as a birth or baptismal record for her, it is hard to know which of the different years is correct or if she was born in another year.~Her marriage year also is unclear. In the 1920 federal census dated January 19, 1920, her future husband John Richard Jurgensen was a single man, so their marriage occurred sometime after that date.
