Charles Freeland "C.F." was the son of James Wilson (Jim) Newton and Mary Alice LITTLE Newton. He served in the Coast Guard during WWII. He was a great guy in every way.

C.F. married Betty Zane Jenkins Nov 22, 1946 in Grenada, Ms. They lived at Sumner, Ms.and had three children; Charles Freeland, Jr; Deborah Ann and Delilah Zane.

June 28, 1974 C.F. married Barbara Ann Berry. They lived in Webb, Ms and had one daughter; Farrah Olivia. C. F. was Chief of Police in Webb for many years.

Uncle C.F. was a great guy and one of my 'big brothers'. He watched after me and my younger sister at school and he watched after us when we grew up. He was the typical big brother and we loved him.
