MRS. SARAH E. BEAVER
ROME -- Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Beaver, wife of Harry D. Beaver Sr., and a life resident of Verona, died Jan 18, at her home.
Mrs. Beaver was born in Verona, July 11, 1872, a daughter of George C. and Elizabeth Cole Whaley.
On June 14, 1899, in Verona, she was married to Mr. Beaver who survives. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church here.
Surviving are three daughters, Miss Edith Beaver, Verona; Mrs., Louis M. Higgins, Rochester; and Mrs. Frederick Kenfield, Verona; two sons, Harry D. Beaver Jr., Rome; and C. Warren Beaver, Westmoreland; a sister, Mrs. William Sloan Sr., Sidney; 12 grandchildren and several nephews and a niece.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday from her late home, the Rev. Samuel Southern, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be at Verona Cemetery.
