Horace Seegmiller, age 86, of Decorah, Iowa, died on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at the Aase Hauge Nursing Home in Decorah, IA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church, 302 West Broadway, Decorah, IA, with Rev. John Caldwell presiding. Burial will be in the Phelps Cemetery, Decorah, IA.
Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home, 604 South Avenue, Decorah, IA, and also after 10:00 a.m., at the church on Friday morning.
Horace is survived by his wife, Dorothy Seegmiller, Decorah, IA. Three sons, Rodney (Sue Baker) Seegmiller, Ridgeway, IA; Mark (Joan) Seegmiller, Postville, IA; and Daryl Seegmiller, Decorah, IA. One daughter, Donna (Paul) Farley, Decorah, IA.
