Louis E. Howard passed away at home in Pahrump on Dec. 4, 2012 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on Aug. 19, 1939. He is survived by his wife Mildred (Midge), his daughter, Deborah Pastorelli and grandsons Anthony Pastorelli and Joseph Pastorelli, all of Pahrump; and son Thomas Howard of Rio Rancho, N.M. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Howard. Louis was a long time former employee at the Nevada Test Site until 1994 when he moved to Socorro N.M., where he had lived until returning to Pahrump this past summer. He was a member of the IBEW for 41 years. A memorial service will be held on Dec. 22 at 1:00 p.m. at the LDS Chapel in Pahrump.
