Sandra "Sam" Shepherd, 41, of Bemidji, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Neilson Place in Bemidji.
A funeral was held at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home in Bemidji. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji.
She was born on Sept. 27, 1965, to Herbert and Marmion (Miller) Shepherd Sr. in Bemidji. She spent her life in Bemidji where she attended Carr Lake School, Horace May School and graduated in 1984 from Bemidji High School. She also took an independent living skills class at Bemidji AVTI.
She was a long-time volunteer to the American Red Cross of Bemidji.
She is survived by her sister, Cindy Lundberg of Bemidji; one niece; one nephew and one great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Herbert Shepherd Jr.
