Pauline Shell Wolfe, 89 years old, was born to the late Charles Edmond Shell and Aldora Hammac Shell. She was a life long member of the Community of Christ. Her husband affectionately named her Precious and they worked together to maintain the family farm in the Whitfield Community for many years. She loved to spend time at the dinning table with her family and friends enjoying meals she had prepared. She looked forward to her weekly games of dominoes with her friends. She faithfully attended church and made sure her children were raised in a good Christian home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Ernest Earl Wolfe Sr., son Earl Wolfe Jr. and his wife Mary Ellen Nelson Wolfe, grandson Jared Salter, sisters Marie Cassady, Helen McDaniel, Dorothy Rice, Imogene Wallace, brother, Charles Shell.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Lee) Wood and Connie (Wade) Gillis. Grandchildren Dwayne (Cindy) Adams, Lauree (Brain) Johnson, Shelly Wolfe, Eric (Kristy) Salter, Valerie (Greg) Garcia, Kevin Gillis, Chad (Heather) Salter and Sawyer Gillis. Sister, Ruby Henderson, brothers, Robert Shell and Doyle (Lynn) Shell. 9 great grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff that cared for her at UniHealth and Covenant Hospice.
For those of us that she has temporarily left behind, we hold close to our hearts the love and many, many wonderful memories that are ours forever.
Visitation will take place Tuesday January 14th from 6-8 pm at the Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel.
The funeral will be on Wednesday January 15th at 11am at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel with Evangelist Leslie Kelly officiating assisted by High Priest Wayne Blocker. Burial to follow at Berrydale Community of Christ Church Cemetery.
