Leland Beverly "Bev" Holt, age 85, of Grants Pass, died Feb. 28, 1999, at his home.

No services will be held. An open house to celebrate Bev's life will be held Sunday, March 7, 1999, from noon to 4 p.m. at 550 Hyde Park Road, Grants Pass, Ore. Enurnment will be in San Diego on March 13, 1999.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.

Mr. Holt was born April 7, 1913, at Fields Landing, and raised in Loleta. He married Audery M. Davenport on April 25, 1936, at the home of Audrey's grandparents, Mr. and MRs. W. W. Goble in Fortuna. He was a truck driver for Callison Truck Lines and Neilson Freight Co., retiring in 1977. He moved to Grants Pass from Redway in 1990. Bev enjoyed flying, gardening and helping people.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey of Grants Pass; his daughters, Beverly A. Borzone and her husband, Robert of Grants Pass, and Phyllis K. Kollmar and her husband, Edward of Klamath Falls, Ore.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; and (balance of clipping missing).
