Rickey D. "Big Rickey" Bennett, 52, of Cumming died Wednesday at his residence following a sudden illness.
A lifelong resident of Forsyth County, Mr. Bennett formerly was employed by Aramark Uniform Co. and was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. and Madge Bennett; and brothers, J.T. Bennett and Ford Bennett.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Angel and Chuck Matheson and Brooke and Mathew Smith, all of Dawsonville, and Robin Bennett, Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Winfred Skinner, Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell Bennett, Cumming, and Danny and Vickie Bennett, Cumming; sisters-in-law, Vickie Venator, Dawsonville, and Jan Bennett, Cumming; and grandson, Blake Matheson, Dawsonville.
