David Perkins was the son of EDWARD & ELIZABETH (BUTCHER) PERKINS. He married DELIVERANCE BLISS on June 8, 1682 by Capt. James Fitch in New Haven.

In 1715, Thomas Elcock & David Perkins were appointed to be searchers & sealers of leather for New Haven.
His tombstone was not found along the wall or moved to the Grove Street Cemetery and it was not found in the crypt under the Center Church on the Green.
