PENDLETON - Ronnie E. Dillon, 66, passed away July 4, 2004, at his residence.

He was born March 8, 1938, in Anderson. He owned and operated Dillon Pattern Works & Foundry, Inc., since 1954. He was a former member of the Fellowship Masonic Lodge; lifetime member of NRA and an avid hunter and fisherman. He served in the National Guard and Army Reserves.

Survivors include his wife, Prudy Dillon of Pendleton; sons, Randy E. (wife, Gaye) Dillon of Pendleton and Russ E. (wife, Cindy S.) Dillon of Anderson; four grandchildren, Ronnie E. (wife, Sara) Dillon of N.C, and Ryan E. Dillon, Candace S. Dillon and Riley E. Dillon, all of Anderson; his brother, David (wife, Carol) Dillon of Chesterfield; half-brother, Robert Seward of Anderson; half-sister, Jackie Bennett of Anderson; special friend, Jerry Toombs; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Mabel (Higgins) Dillon.

Services begin at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, officiated by the Rev. Greg Waggoner. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.

Visitation hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
