Jason Hughes went to be with the Lord on Jan.4th, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in Peoria, AZ. He graduated from Peoria High School as an athlete star. He went on to play football for the Semi-Pro team called "Militia". He attended Grand Canyon College. He was a law clerk for Pitney and Bowes, and worked in law enforcement here and Las Vegas.

He was friends with Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Governor Janet Napolitano. He had one son named Jason Damon Hughes II. Jason lived in Peoria about 37 years.

Jason is survived in death by his Parents: Sharon and Michael Hibbitt; Brothers: Darrin Hughes, Michael Hibbitt Jr (Daphne), Geoffrey Hibbitt (Tammy), Saieed Hasan (Maria); Sisters: Patricia Allen (David), Catalina Torres (Naijah), Donisha Galbreath, Esperanza Torres (Karl), Jamilah Joiner (Cornelius), Meredith Hurt, and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
