Evelyn Hawkinberry, 92, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on January 12, 2014 at her residence.
She was born January 2, 1922, in Wirt County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harvey and Eva M. Drennen McFee.
Evelyn was a homemaker and a member of Stephenson United Methodist Church in Parkersburg.
She is survived by her husband, Roy L. Hawkinberry; grandson, Ryan Hawkinberry of Columbus, Ohio; loving friend and daughter-in-law, Mary Hawkinberry Studebaker of Eaton, Ohio; niece Ruthie Siber of Parkersburg; and sister-in-law, Ruby Hughes of East Palestine, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rodger Hawkinberry; and two brothers, Jack McFee and Charles Harold McFee.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Teddy Tackett officiating. Interment will follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Elizabeth, W.Va. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
