Nathan Kane Morris, 34, found peace on Friday, Jan. 10,2014. He was born Nov. 9,1979 in New Castle.

A 1998 graduate of Blue River Valley High School, he was a toolmaker in a machine shop for several years. Nate had a great love and passion for an genres of music. An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. Very much of a "family man". Nate's children were his main passion in life. He just enjoyed spending time with family in general.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Donna A. Morris, whom he married Aug. 18,2000; two children, Nathan Kane and Malory Morris, both at home; his parents, Victor and Goldie Claar of Mt. Summit and Tony Morris of Milton; a brother, Anthony Morris of Greenfield; a sister, Nicci (Christopher) Powell of Connersville; his paternal grandfather, Samuel Morris of Milton; nieces and nephews, Ashton and Brodie, Sam, Laynie, Zoe and Zeb; an aunt, Carolyn Highmiller of Lewisville; in-laws, Donald and Marsha Groves of Nw Castle; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Faye Morris and Eva Groves.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wed., Jan. 15,2014 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with Pastor Mark O'Brien officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14,2014 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Blue River Valley Dollars for Scholars.
