A 1952 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Tim pursued his lifelong passion for television and motion picture communications. He began this career in the early days of WQED where he was a good friend of Fred Rogers. Later, he worked with Bill Beale Productions, and then worked in the Motion Picture Branch of the Mine Safety and Health Administration, (formerly the U.S. Bureau of Mines) on Forbes Avenue. Tim directed and helped produce numerous award winning safety films, including the acclaimed training film, "Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation", commended by film industry judges and the American Heart Association.
He passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at age 75 at his home in Stanton Heights.
