Jason was born in St. Charles, MO on September 14, 1990 to his loving parents, Glenn A. and Mary C. (Cunningham) Rutkowski.

Jason was a loving husband, son and father. He was also a student at SUNY Maritime College, entering his last semester, majoring in International Trade and Transportation.

He is survived by his loving wife, Natalie A. Santiago-Rutkowski of Monroe, NY; daughter, Savannah N. Rutkowski; son, Benjamin R. Rutkowski; parents, Glenn A. and Mary C. Rutkowski; sister, Jennifer E. and her husband, King Jenkins of Glen Burnie, MD; brother, Jeffrey A. and his wife, Pamela Rutkowski of New Windsor, NY, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 17th, at 12 p.m. at St. Mary's Church in Washingtonville, NY. Burial will immediately follow at 1 p.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery in Washingtonville, NY.

An Orange County man was struck and killed by a vehicle driven by his coworker's husband as he walked to work this morning in Woodbury.

Police say Jason Rutkowski, 23, was hit as he walked along Route 32 at around 7 a.m.

Rutkowski had parked across the street from Woodbury Common and was heading to work at the Guess factory store.
