Graveside services were held Monday, Jan. 3, 2000 at 11 a.m. at Marseilles Cemetery in West Point with the Rev. Ray Warner officiating.
Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret Kennedy and John Horton Smith; her son and daughter-in-law, William Thomas and Nancy Glover Kennedy; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kennedy had been an active member of the Methodist Church in several communities. She was active in the Girl Scouts throughout her life as a volunteer and served as a professional in the organization from 1965 through 1969. Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her husband, Willoughby Thomas Kennedy. She was a graduate from G.S.C.W.
