CONNIE E. BINTLIFF STONE 1966-2014

BYESVILLE -- Connie E. Bintliff Stone, 47, of Pleasant City, passed away on Jan. 9, 2014 at The Cleveland Clinic after a courageous battle with leukemia.

She was born on Feb. 19, 1966, in Long Beach, Calif., daughter to the late William Charles and Beverly Braun Bintliff Matlak.

Connie was a 1984 graduate of Cambridge High School and worked for Cambridge Home Health Care as a branch manager for 13 years, retiring this past August due to health concerns.

She was a member of the Pleasant City AmVets Auxiliary, a social member of the Byesville VFW and Women of the Moose.

Connie was a devoted grandmother, and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Stone, whom she married on Aug. 24, 1996; a sister Rose Marie Bintliff; father-in-law James Stone, and daughter-in-law Kerry Stone.

Survivors include her children, Eric (Julie) Wilson of Lancaster, Alicia (Fred) Kocsis of Pleasant City, Adam Wilson of Byesville, Jim Stone of Reynoldsburg, and Jerry (Mari) Stone of Byesville; eight grandchildren, CJ, Haylie, and Max Stone, Devin and Anna Wilson, Gavin, Mika, and Lilyona Kocsis; five brothers, William (Mary Ann) Bintliff of Byesville, Henry (Jeanie) Bintliff of N. Car., Jimmy (Cathy) Bintliff of Wooster, Johnny (Cindy) Bintliff of Byesville and Steve (Sheila) Bintliff of Las Vegas; several nieces and nephews; her companion, Jeffrey Fish of Pleasant City; mother-in-law Jane Stone of Pleasant City, and stepfather, Al Matlak of Florida.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Black-Epperson Funeral Home in Byesville, with funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Nancy Parsons officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
